Setup API Keys for Tradeium

  1. Create API Key

Login to your Binance Account. Click User dropdown > API Management > Insert API Key label (can be anything like “Tradeium Key”) > Create API

Complete security verification after you click “Create API”

Page might look slightly different if you have not previously created an API key.

  1. Edit Restrictions

After API Key is created, you need to “Edit Restrictions” to the settings below:
174.138.7.205

  1. Submit API Keys to Tradeium

Before refreshing the page above, make sure to copy the API Key and Secret Key over to Tradeium. Upon refreshing, the Secret Key will disappear and you will have to create a new set.

Then click Submit

  1. Verify API Key Status

  • Bot ON: should only be checked if you already turned the bot ON (upon creation its OFF)
  • Can-Read: should be checked by default (if API keys were submitted correctly)
  • Rebate: is optional but provides a discount. Its applied if your binance.com account was created after may 2020 without a referral ID
  • Margin Trading: should be enabled if you enabled “Enable Margin Loan, Repay, and Transfer” in Step 2 above and if you have a balance above about $50.

Please note, the API Status above does not check if your API keys can trade (“Enable Spot and Margin Trading” in Step 2). Although, if “Margin Trading” is checked above, then Tradeium is able to trade with your API keys since we execute a trade to check that condition.
